The Buda medical center was one of three hospital prototypes built SEQUENTIALLY – proceeded by Pflugerville and followed by Austin hospital
This is one of 3 hospitals built as part of a unique prototype strategy at BSWH. The design process was optimized to produce a prototype defined by a holistic set of standards that could accelerate the design & construction time. As an integral member of this strategy, E+M established furniture standards aligned with branding and user profiles. These standards have successfully allowed BSWH to develop facilities at a speed that matches the rapidly growing needs of the Austin metropolitan area.
