Edwards + Mulhausen spent time visioning with the planning committee how new interior finishes and space plan could improve the function and mission of their large, democratic team.

Originally founded in 1880 and housed in prominent downtown Austin building for over 80 years, TSTA underwent an intensive planning exercise in the effort to transform an existing 30,000 sf. 3-story building into a new home that sustains and refreshes their organizational identity. Cool greys, marble quartz countertop and rich woods are reminiscent of the old building and provide a sophisticated background for vibrant textiles in blue and red that reflect the organization’s logo. E+M provided full interior design services as well as furniture planning for a turn-key interiors project that has become a new source of pride for TSTA.
