As the primary center for student life on the south side of campus, the newly renovated Commons provides a vibrant student space for eating, studying, meeting and socializing.

The Commons Facility is approximately 85,000 square feet split between two levels. The upper level consists of a variety of spaces for student study and interaction including a large Recreation and Games area, fully equipped Computer Learning Center, music practice rooms and a central Main Street concourse designed to encourage student collaboration and support individual study activities.

Also occupying space on level one are the Administrative Offices for Residence Life Staff, numerous conference and training areas, and several ancillary support spaces. The lower level consists of a large dining area and servery as well as offices for building staff and maintenance.
